Not every hair day needs a full wash. Sometimes the roots only need a quick refresh, while buildup or an uncomfortable scalp calls for something more thorough.
My current hair shelf has three products that cover those different situations without turning the routine into a long process.

1. amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo

A busy morning is when amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo really makes sense. A few sprays around the roots can help hair look fresher when there isn’t enough time for a proper wash. After letting it sit briefly, I work it through with my fingers and brush out any excess. It’s become the sort of product that earns its place simply because it saves time.

2. OUAI Detox Shampoo

Some wash days need more than a regular shampoo. OUAI Detox Shampoo is made for those moments when styling products, dry shampoo, or everyday buildup have started to accumulate. I massage it into my scalp and rinse thoroughly before continuing with the rest of my shower routine. The result is that unmistakably fresh, just-washed feeling that makes my hair feel ready for a clean start.

3. Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-Exfoliating Shampoo

Briogeo Scalp Revival takes scalp cleansing a step further with its micro-exfoliating texture. The combination of charcoal and coconut oil gives the shampoo a more treatment-like feel than a basic everyday cleanser. I keep the massage gentle and let the formula do the work instead of scrubbing aggressively. It’s especially appealing on wash days when my scalp feels like it needs some extra attention.
The three products work around different hair situations rather than competing for the same spot. Amika keeps my roots looking refreshed between washes, OUAI gives buildup a deeper cleanse, and Briogeo adds an exfoliating scalp-care step. Rotating them makes more sense than using everything together, and it keeps my hair routine feeling simple.
