You would think I'd dive into my full skincare routine the moment I wake up, but after learning more about what my skin actually needs, I realized that doing a full routine before the gym is unnecessary.
Since I'm just going to sweat, I keep things simple and stick to a few essentials that help me feel refreshed, awake, and protected before heading out!
1. Ice Face Roller
- Helps reduce puffiness and morning swelling
- Supports lymphatic drainage and boosts circulation
- Relieves muscle tension in the face
- I use it especially around my eyes when they feel puffy
2. Eye Patches — Good Molecules
- Affordable and effective
- Contains ingredients that energize and depuff the under-eyes
- Gives a cooling, refreshing sensation
- I use these when I need an extra boost in the morning, and they genuinely make my eyes look and feel more awake.
3. Sunscreen — Cica Regen
- Lightweight texture that doesn't feel greasy
- Smells great and works well under sweat
- Helps protect from sun exposure during my gym commute
My pre-gym routine is quick, simple, and effective: an ice roller to de-puff, eye patches to energize, and sunscreen to protect. These three steps keep my skin refreshed without wasting product before a workout.
